We are a group of creative people who help organizations make their ideas beautiful.

Senior Social Analyst

The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Social Analyst who’s a little obsessed with the internet — in a good way. You live in the conversation, you spot what matters before it trends, and you’ve got the taste to know what’s actually worth a brand’s attention (and the confidence to say what’s not). This is a senior, client-facing role, so you’re just as comfortable presenting a recommendation to a client as you are digging through a week of listening data to find the one insight that matters.

You’re proactive to a fault. You don’t wait around to be kicked off on an idea, and you’re nimble enough to jump in and help even when all information isn’t fully defined yet. You’ll write and design reports sharp enough for leadership; you’ll flag things before anyone has to ask, and you’ll show up with real creative thinking of your own based on the aggregation of quantitative and qualitative data from online chatter. This role reports to the Account Director on the business.

What You’ll Do

Strategy

You’re the connective tissue between brand strategy, audiences, and creative — turning what’s happening in culture and community into direction the rest of the team can run with.

Own monthly and ad hoc performance reporting for community engagement and social listening — turning it into insights and narratives leadership can act on.

Refine and apply social listening strategies that deepen brand understanding and relationships with users.

Keep a pulse on cultural trends, platform shifts, and digital behavior, and proactively pitch social-first, creative activations.

Work with strategy and account leads to plan and stand up new brand social channels for maximum impact.

Team up with creative and account service to spot and coordinate with influencers, partners, and brand voices worth aligning with, knowing when an opportunity needs immediate action and when we can plan for a longer runway.

Bring your own POVs — and creative ideas — into brainstorms, presentations, and planning conversations with confidence. Understand how to balance personal perspective with collaborative thinking to empower creative teams to do their best work.

Community Engagement

Work directly within the community engagement queue in Sprinklr to perform trafficking and response duties, engaging with our audiences in real time

Support listening both within Sprinklr and natively to identify proactive engagement opportunities and respond in the brand voice

Handle sensitive or high-stakes community situations with discretion, escalating where needed to client and legal partners.

Product Management

Be the go-to person for Sprinklr: filing tickets, managing configurations, and speaking up for what the team needs.

Fine-tune social media management tool workflows so they're efficient, accurate, and easy for internal and client teams to use.

Build and evolve dashboards, reporting systems, and process documentation.

Run recurring cross-team training and check-ins to keep everyone aligned on current standard operating procedures.

Partner directly with client points of contact to make sure the tool keeps meeting the org's needs.

Content Development

Own the full UGC (user generated content) workflow, start to finish — spotting it, vetting it, briefing it for the creative team.

Call the shots on what's brand-safe and worth pursuing, resharing, or building into bigger content.

Work with account service to brief creatives with clarity on tone, opportunity, and context.

Bring genuinely creative, unexpected ideas to inspire content development for our clients’ brands.

Keep the bar high so the social ecosystem stays authentic, strategic, and culturally relevant.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience

5+ years in social media, community management, or social listening/analytics. Agency experience is a plus.

A genuine, current obsession with social and internet culture. You’re fluent in what’s happening online before it’s a headline.

Insatiable curiosity and continuous learning of what’s now and next in the social space, understanding how quickly things change and never resting on your experience, but building from it.

Impeccable taste and judgment. You know what matters to a brand, what’s brand-safe, and what’s just noise.

A knack for creative thinking — you don’t just spot what’s happening, you pitch what to do about it.

An extremely proactive communication style. You flag opportunities, risks, and ideas before anyone has to ask.

Comfort and confidence being client-facing, presenting recommendations and business insights straight from social chatter and listening data.

Strong writing and information design chops, with the ability to build reports and narratives sharp enough for executive audiences

Good judgment and experience using AI tools like Claude as a partner in researching, writing and designing, but never an unvetted crutch.

Hands-on experience with social listening tools like Brandwatch, and SMM platforms such as Sprinklr, Emplifi, Oktopost, Sprout Social, or Hootsuite.

A strong handle on performance metrics, with the ability to turn data into actionable strategy, not just a report.

Professional fluency with major social platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and X.

Solid time management and organizational skills to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.

A genuine commitment to inclusive marketing.

May require weekend monitoring/response shifts with additional compensation

May require travel if based outside of St. Louis, MO
