Overview:
The Social Analyst at Paradowski is responsible for monitoring and helping to maintain and grow a brand’s presence and reputation in social and online communities. This role is also responsible for identifying trends and opportunities in online conversations, where brands can add value to the conversations taking place in an authentic and timely manner. They monitor and analyze audience conversations across a variety of outlets, including social listening tools, online forums, social media platforms, internal communication networks (e.g. Slack, Microsoft Teams, intranet), in-person groups, and more to monitor and inform how to reach audiences where they are.
The Social Analyst works directly with internal teams, including community management creators, analytics, account service, and strategy, to recommend and support dynamic approaches to audience engagement. They are responsible for monitoring social channels and wider societal conversations taking place online, proposing strategic approaches to content creation and messaging, identifying opportunities for brands to proactively add value to conversations, and working closely with strategists to develop social insights and reporting. Approximately 30-40% of the Social Analyst’s billable time may be spent engaging directly with direct messages, comments, and proactive opportunities from the community.
Successful candidates bring cutting edge thinking about how to push the boundaries of social media and the current landscape to reach client goals, working with strategy, creative, and community management teams to test new approaches and tactics. The Social Analyst serves as a resident expert on social trends, platforms and communities and has a passion for social culture and the ever evolving, digital landscape.
Excellent time management, written and verbal communications, and analytical skills are required. The Social Analyst should be equally comfortable working independently to dive deeply into trends data and collaborating with colleagues in group settings. An innate curiosity and a willingness to go beyond the expected will be critical to this role.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing
● Professional familiarity with social media platforms such as, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok
● Experience writing content, specifically experience writing for social media
● Strong understanding of performance metrics and ability to pull data to inform social reports, keeping internal teams up to date on reporting best practices
● Proven experience or familiarity utilizing social listening tools like Brandwatch
● Proven experience or familiarity with social media tools such as Emplifi, Oktopost, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Sprinklr, etc.
● Operate according to deadlines while executing multiple projects
● Technical understanding and ability to pick up new tools quickly
● Basic understanding of data management, experience with tools like Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
● Stay on top of emerging trends, technologies and user behaviors with an ability to communicate those learnings constructively with internal teams
● Expertise in or strong desire to learn about inclusive marketing
● Strong desire to learn and grow professionally
